Supreme SS is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon in Essex to join a 24-hour, RCVS-accredited practice. The role offers a 4-day week, 40-hour rota, and a strong emphasis on work‑life balance with limited on‑call duties.

Part‑time applications are considered. Applicants with exotic bias are encouraged, and there are excellent development opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a UK veterinary practice.
• Interest or experience in exotic animals is encouraged.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality first opinion small animal veterinary care.
• Work across a varied medical and surgical caseload.
• Diagnose and manage complex cases with a team.
• Collaborate with RVNs and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and patient care.
