Small Animal & Exotics Veterinary Surgeon Independent Practice | Purpose-Built Site | No OOH | Essex

A modern and independently owned veterinary practice in Essex is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Small Animal Vet with an interest in Exotics to join their growing team. The new Practice is rapidly expanding and prides itself on its gold-standard, client-first approach with a strong team ethos and flexible working environment.

Key Duties
  • General practice duties across small animals and exotics (e.g. rats, chickens, goats)
  • Work in a supportive team of 7 vets (including a cert holder) and 4 RVNs (increasing to 6)
  • Surgery available daily - vets are encouraged to follow cases through
  • Consulting in 15-30 minute blocks depending on clinician preference
  • Sole charge is required at times, though support is always available
  • 4-day working week (40 hours)
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am-3pm) with future potential for Sunday opening
  • No out-of-hours or bank holiday working
  • Opportunity to pursue certificates and further training
  • Team-based rota and consult flexibility
