Qualifications

• RCVS registration and experience in small animal practice
• Confidence managing a varied medical and surgical caseload
• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• A commitment to maintaining high clinical standards
• An enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
• The ability to mentor and support less experienced colleagues where appropriate

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality first opinion veterinary care to small animal patients
• Perform consultations, diagnostics, and routine surgical procedures
• Develop and manage medical and surgical cases to a high clinical standard
• Build trusted relationships with clients through excellent communication
• Work collaboratively with Veterinary Nurses and the wider practice team
• Support and mentor colleagues where appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold best practice standards
• Contribute to the continued development of clinical services within the practice
