Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers is recruiting for a Vessel Operations Coordinator to join a leading international Dry Bulk shipping organisation based in London. You will support the day-to-day operation of Dry Bulk vessels, ensuring voyages are executed safely and efficiently in line with contractual requirements.

Reporting to Chartering Managers and working with Masters, Agents and Brokers, you will coordinate voyages, review charter Parties, monitor schedules and assist with voyage accounting,

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, maritime operations, logistics or similar.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.
• Exposure to Dry Bulk shipping is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operation of Dry Bulk vessels from fixture to voyage completion.
• Review charter parties, fixture recaps and voyage instructions.
• Monitor vessel schedules, positions and voyage performance.
• Liaise with Masters, Agents, Brokers and Chartering teams to ensure efficient voyage execution.
• Assist with bunker planning, freight invoicing, hire statements and voyage accounting activities.
• Support laytime calculations, demurrage claims and operational reporting.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Support the resolution of operational, performance and cargo-related claims.
