Job summary

Randstad Education in Liverpool is actively recruiting energetic, QTS-qualified Secondary Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for immediate and upcoming posts across Merseyside schools. Roles include permanent, long-term contracts, and day-to-day cover, with competitive daily pay, weekly PAYE earnings, and flexible opportunities.

CPD access and a £300 referral bonus are also offered. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, assess progress, and ensure safety and engagement in labs

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS status required.
• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering the UK Secondary Science Curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Assess student work, track practical skills, and provide feedback.
• Maintain safety, engagement and positive behaviour in the lab.
• Prepare students for target grades across combined and triple science.
• Collaborate with the science teams to support curriculum goals.
