Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting QTS-qualified Secondary Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) to teach across Warrington. Roles range from long-term contracts to day-to-day supply, with flexible local placements in WA1–WA5 areas.

You will plan hands-on science lessons, assess progress, and ensure classroom safety while supporting curriculum goals. Competitive PAYE earnings and access to free CPD are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or QTLS and be eligible to teach in the UK.
• Proven track record delivering the UK Secondary Science Curriculum.
• DBS processed via Update Service or willingness to register.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 3/4 science lessons across biology, chemistry and physics.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain safety, engagement and behaviour in the lab.
• Prepare students for target grades across science modules.
• Collaborate with head of science and school teams to meet curriculum goals.
