Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic General Cover Teacher to work in secondary schools across South West London. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and support schools by maintaining a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or relevant teaching experience and demonstrate strong classroom management, with the flexibility to teach different subjects as needed.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and ability to engage students.
• Flexible and confident to teach various subjects.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons across different subjects, following the school's curriculum.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring students remain on task.
• Implement school policies on behavior management and student support.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and any classroom developments.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit the needs of different student groups.
