Job summary
Pilgrim's Europe in Anwick is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to provide responsive engineering support to the production team. You will tackle breakdowns, perform proactive maintenance and aim to improve equipment availability to meet OEE targets.
SAP PPM will be used to record labour and parts, and you may deputise for the Engineering Team Leader when required. You will ensure safe operations under COSHH and health and safety rules, work with the leadership team on improvements, and assist in
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical) is required.
- Recognised UK qualifications and proven multi-skilled experience with strong electrical competence.
- Previous experience in manufacturing operations and literacy/numeracy to National Level 2.
- Desirable: NVQ Level 4 or equivalent; PLC knowledge; lean techniques; 17th/18th/18th Edition; automation exposure.
Responsibilities
- Provide breakdown cover and repair to optimise machine performance.
- Perform planned maintenance and adjustments within your competence.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets product specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership and SAP PPM usage for labour and parts.
- Support safety rules and promote safe working practices.
