Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Liverpool seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site, handling planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery. You will identify faults, fix breakdowns and drive proactive maintenance to boost equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

The role suits a genuinely multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical fault-finding abilities in a fast-paced factory setting, working a 4 on, 4 off days and nights shift.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to work 4 on, 4 off days-and-nights shift pattern.
• Solid understanding of health and safety in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production equipment.
• Responding quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns.
• Completing electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
• Identifying recurring faults and supporting permanent improvements.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with engineering procedures.
• Working closely with production and engineering colleagues to minimise downtime.
