Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy Liverpool manufacturing site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a broad range of production machinery, fault-finding, and driving improvements to reduce downtime.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, experience with 4 on, 4 off days/nights, and a solid appreciation of health and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: recognised electrical engineering qualification.
• Essential: multi-skilled maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Essential: strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Essential: experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Essential: ability to work 4 on, 4 off days/nights.
• Essential: good health and safety understanding in engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned Preventive Maintenance across production equipment.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs.
• Identify recurring faults and support reliability improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and equipment reliability.
