Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Cover Teacher (QTS) to work in a mainstream secondary school in Oxford and Banbury. The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3/KS4, maintaining high behaviour standards, and engaging students with varied subjects.

You will join a supportive team with 24/7 consultant support, CPD opportunities, and market-leading pay rates. This is a long-term contract with flexible day-to-day work available, onsite in Banbury (OX16).

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience in UK secondary school settings.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
• Strong IT skills including interactive whiteboards, school systems and digital learning resources.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of secondary subjects.
