Job summary

Trafalgar Entertainment is seeking a Management Accountant, Venues in Woking to lead the finance team in delivering timely financial reporting for multiple theatres. You will manage and develop an Assistant Management Accountant and Finance Assistant, and drive best-practice processes across the venue portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Management Finance (Venues), you will prepare monthly management accounts, consolidate group reporting, support budgets and forecasts, and assist with year-end

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts (full P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) with variance analysis and commentary.
• Own financial reporting for multiple venues and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Assist year-end audit process and respond to auditor queries to meet deadlines.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts and review management accounts against budgets.
• Assist with the cashflow process, including a 13-week forecast and funding requirements.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure efficient sales and payment cycles and payroll processing.
• Develop and mentor an Assistant Management Accountant and Finance Assistant.
