Job summary

Trafalgar Entertainment Group is expanding its finance team and creating a Group Statutory Reporting Accountant role in Woking. You will lead the preparation and delivery of accurate statutory financial statements for the consolidated Group and its subsidiaries, coordinate audits, and drive process improvements.

The role offers visibility across senior finance stakeholders and opportunities to shape reporting templates and timetables.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally with an audit or technical financial reporting.
• Experience preparing consolidated Group financial statements and taking them through audit.
• Strong knowledge of the accounting framework and required disclosures.
• Able to manage a complex timetable across entities and stakeholders.
• Experience with acquisitions, joint ventures and multi-entity groups.
• Experience improving statutory accounts templates and audit support processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Group-wide statutory accounts register and timetable.
• Prepare and review subsidiary statutory accounts and the consolidated Group statements.
• Coordinate inputs from finance, tax, legal and secretarial teams; manage audit workflow.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and group policies; escalate when needed.
• Lead the final review, approval and signing of accounts with directors and secretaries.
• Contribute to group finance projects and process automation.
