Job summary

Hamilton Hunter Live LTD is seeking a proactive venue manager to take ownership of daily operations in a Glasgow venue. You will lead the team, supervise events, manage stock and cash, and ensure licensing and health & safety compliance while upholding high venue standards.

The role requires a Scottish Personal Licence, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and flexibility for evenings and weekends when gigs take place.

Qualifications

• A Scottish Personal Licence.
• Confidence with everyday Microsoft Office (email, Excel, Word).
• Availability for evenings and weekends, because that's when the gigs are.

Responsibilities

• Oversee live events and day-to-day venue operations.
• Manage and develop staff working across shifts.
• Stock and cash management, including tills and reconciliations.
• Licensing and health & safety compliance for the venue.
• Maintain venue standards and handle general administration.

Job description

For 15 years, Audio has hosted sweaty, loud, brilliant nights in the heart of Glasgow. Local bands play their first proper gig here and touring acts pack our room and promoters we've worked with for years keep bringing their best nights to us. We're independent and grassroots and proud of it.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of the venue and lead the team confidently. The role will include overseeing live events, managing and developing staff, stock and cash management, licensing and health & safety compliance, venue standards and general administration.

What you'll need

• Confidence with everyday Microsoft Office (email, Excel, Word)
• Availability for evenings and weekends, because that's when the gigs are.
