Job summary

Convene is seeking a London-based operational lead to oversee shifts, security, maintenance, and room setups at our Bishopsgate location. You will manage external contractors, supervise the housekeeping/facilities team, and ensure guest experiences are seamless for events.

Evening shifts are required; candidate must reside in the UK and be able to work without sponsorship. The role focuses on coordinating maintenance, safety, and client event transitions in a premium space.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good understanding of audio-visual equipment and troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with closing the venue and conduct quality inspections across rooms.
• Log faults in the maintenance database and monitor issues with facilities team.
• Coordinate maintenance, schedule visits, and liaise with external contractors.
• Oversee housekeeping/facilities tasks and staff for the next day prep.
• Manage security routines, deliveries, and access control procedures.
• Support client event transitions from booking to event day execution.
• Inventory stationery and replenish supplies for training rooms.
