Job summary

Aviva Studios is seeking a Venue Duty Manager to lead the on-site duty management, ensuring outstanding and inclusive visitor experiences across events and activities. You will coordinate with food & drink, security and cleaning partners, plus internal teams, across a rotating roster that covers building duty and event-specific operations.

You will lead evacuations, risk assessments, crowd control and first aid responses, while developing Supervisors, Hosts and Volunteers and promoting Equality,

Responsibilities

• Fulfil the role of Duty Manager in the operational structure of Aviva Studios, working with Supervisors, and other teams in the day-to-day delivery of outstanding and inclusive customer service to all visitors.
• Lead delivery and decision-making in day-to-day operations, including evacuations, risk assessments, crowd management, first aid responses, safety monitoring.
• Oversee complex visitor operations across multiple events.
• Manage visitor-facing teams, briefing and coordinating hosts and volunteers.
• Oversee on-the-day management of visitor-facing functions such as retail, reception, security, cloakroom, and ticket scanning.
• Collaborate with Producers and Event Managers to plan operational needs for programming and events.
• Support the Duty Management team in developing a positive team culture.
