Job summary

Connected Places Catapult invites applications for a programme management role overseeing the Freight Innovation Fund's Venture Growth Programme. You will coordinate delivery, manage multiple stakeholders and ensure high-quality support to growth-stage SMEs, including investor readiness and go-to-market activity.

The role focuses on identifying high-potential businesses, deploying structured growth support, and engaging industry partners to drive adoption and investment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing open calls, assessment frameworks, and due diligence processes.
• Experience managing SME onboarding, engagement, and progression across trial and commercial pathways.
• Coordinating specialist support for SMEs, including commercialisation, investor readiness, market access and go-to-market activity.
• Strong communicator able to engage founders, investors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue targets.
• Spot opportunities.
• Contribute to bids and proposals.
• Support client confidence in CPC and its capabilities.
• Ensure CRM system is updated with stakeholder contacts and account information.
• Support scoping and delivery of streams of work.
• Deliver plans as designed and on time.
• Implement effective project management processes.
• Collaborate across work streams and teams.
• Maintain high-quality delivery and utilization targets.
• Promote professional delivery across the project team.
