Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-6 years' relevant experience from a strong corporate practice
• Significant ECVC experience, including venture financings using NVCA documents
• Some domestic M&A experience, ideally involving start-ups/investors
• Interest in or experience with technology, life sciences and/or CPG businesses
• Commercially minded with strong legal and business judgement
• Confident managing client and counsel relationships
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and willing to take on increasing responsibility
• Team player with collaborative approach
• Admitted to the Texas Bar, or eligible to waive in

Responsibilities

• Advise start-ups and emerging growth companies on corporate matters
• Lead seed and venture financings using NVCA documents
• Assist with domestic M&A involving start-ups and investors
• Provide guidance on general corporate matters for high-growth businesses
• Build and manage relationships with sophisticated clients and counsel
• Take on increasing responsibility across a broad range of corporate transactions
