Job summary

NLG in Doncaster is seeking a Complex Care Respiratory Support Worker to provide essential care for clients with tracheostomy and PEG needs. The role includes both part-time and full-time options, with training provided and a focus on person-centred care in a supportive environment.

Salary is £13 per hour on weekdays and £14 per hour on weekends, plus 12.07% holiday pay. Weekly pay is offered, along with comprehensive training and opportunities for progression within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving license is essential.
• Experience or familiarity with tracheostomy and ventilator dependent care is beneficial.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high quality personal and clinical care per the care plan.
• Support tracheostomy and ventilator management with training provided.
• Build trusting relationships with clients and offer emotional support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to develop care plans.
• Monitor progress and report concerns to senior staff.
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment for all clients.
