Overview

Role purpose: The Vendor Manager at SCC is responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with key software vendors, focusing on Accelerate and Incubate vendors. This role involves building key stakeholder relationships, driving growth, maximizing value, and ensuring alignment with SCC's strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with Accelerate and Incubate vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and opportunities.
  • Go to Market & Revenue Generating Activities: Collaborate on growth plans with Accelerate vendors and identify and nurture opportunities for Incubate vendors.
  • Certification and Compliance: Ensure the highest level of certifications and specializations for Accelerate vendors.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Drive and support marketplace partnerships and own the services partners ecosystem.
  • Financial Management: Secure development funds and resources (GP).
  • Proactive Engagement: Engage with vendor partners to develop their business with SCC.
  • Distribution Relationship Management: Manage relationships with aligned distribution partners to maximise incentives, manage cost optimisation and drive value across distributor resources, market intelligence and data.
Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in vendor management within the technology sector.
  • Procurement Systems: Familiarity with procurement and vendor management platforms like SAP Ariba

Role Details
  • Location: London (hybrid working — mix of office and home)
  • Contract Type: 6 - 9 Months Full-Time
  • Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus company benefits and a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid volunteering days per year
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Interview Process: 2-stage process
