Job summary

Halfords Garage Services in Peterborough is inviting skilled Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join our growing team. You will service and repair vehicles, perform tasks like clutch and timing belt replacements and diagnostics across brakes, steering, suspension, and electrics, with opportunities to progress in a modern Fusion centre.

You’ll need a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience and a clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work across brakes, steering/suspension, engine.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repair/replacement work, with ability to carry out more complex tasks.
• Diagnose issues in areas such as vehicle electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.
