Job summary

Williams Motor Group in Bolton is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and diagnose vehicles to manufacturer standards in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

This full-time role offers a base salary of £32,000–£37,000 with realistic OTE up to £42,400 and a progression path to £51,400. You’ll work Monday to Friday 8:30–17:30, with Saturday mornings on a 1-in-4 rota, and benefit from manufacturer training and supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• City & Guilds Level 3 or IMI Level 3 qualification (Level 2 accepted).
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance on vehicles to a high standard.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using computer-based diagnostics.
• Repairing or replacing faulty components efficiently and safely.
• Road testing vehicles to ensure work is completed correctly.
• Following manufacturer checklists and procedures.
• Taking pride in tools, equipment and workshop standards.
• Maintaining accurate job records and following workshop processes.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve efficiency and quality targets.
