Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) in Wirral is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a modern, busy workshop. You will service, repair, maintain and diagnose a range of vehicles while benefiting from strong earning potential and ongoing training.

The role offers a basic salary up to £38,000 DOE and an OTE up to £60,000, plus 33 days holiday and a range of discounts. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3, 3+ years of experience, own tools and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry.
• Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
• A current MOT Licence would be advantageous but not essential.
• Your own tools and toolbox required.
• Full manual UK Driving Licence, subject to licence checks.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing defined assembly operations and maintenance repairs
• Working to the highest standards of quality and efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with manufacturer and safety standards
• Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
• Providing technical support and advice where required
• Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship at all times
