A BPSS security clearance is necessary, and the position offers a stable, permanent contract with a generous benefits package. Salary starts at £38,224 and rises to £40,848 after achieving level 4 education and training, funded fully.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) minimum requirement.
• Vehicle Technician background with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Organised with good time management and proactive approach.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Workshop experience with diagnostic skills for light vehicle or HGV; arms/vehicle inspection experience beneficial.
• Strong IT literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a CPD portfolio and developing lesson plans aligned with Learner Specifications; course training plans.
• Reviewing course materials to reflect current equipment and technologies; employing appropriate training aids.
• Creating and marking examinations, assessments and progress tests; invigilating examinations.
• Monitoring trainee development, providing feedback and ensuring documentation is up to date and flagged if special needs arise.
