Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Vehicle Mechanic/Technician aiming to move into an Instructor role for a major UK defence contractor. The successful candidate will join a global engineering and defence leader, with funded qualifications and structured progression paths, based around Lyneham and a Monday–Friday 37-hour workweek.

You will deliver hands-on training to military students, execute pre-set lesson plans, assess progress, and help improve internal processes.

Are you a Vehicle Mechanic, Technician or similar looking to progress off the tools into an Instructor or Trainer role, with one of the UK's biggest defence contractors, who are responsible for training the next wave of military mechanics? In this role, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on training to military students, deliver pre-set lesson plans, training and assessments, monitor trainee development and collaborate with colleagues to improve internal processes. This is a Monday to Friday role, 37 hour week - no overtime required.

This role would suit a Vehicle Mechanic or Technician, from any background looking for an off the tools role, full training to become an instructor and the opportunity to work for one of the biggest defence companies in the UK.
