Job summary

Rise Technical in Perth (Scotland) is seeking a Semi-Skilled Mechanic / Vehicle Technician. The role offers a permanent position with 45 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday pattern, and a starting rate of 13.64 per hour plus overtime, training & development, 34 days holiday and a pension.

You will service and repair PSV vehicles, perform diagnostics, and support safety standards in a busy depot. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with commercial vehicles, can read service manuals, and hold a

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing/repairing commercial vehicles (bus/coach/truck/HGV).
• Confident using diagnostic tools and working from service manuals.
• Full UK driving licence held.
• Experience with PSV/HGV or similar backgrounds considered.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing PSVs.
• Diagnostics across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults (training provided).
• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance and roadside repairs.
