Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician in Grays to join a modern workshop. You’ll perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and health checks, working closely with service advisors and customers to ensure high standards and safety.

Enjoy a weekday-only schedule with a strong earning potential through a bonus scheme and overtime. The role requires a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, good organisation and time management, and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer standards.
• Perform diagnostics to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Conduct electronic visual health checks with clear recommendations.
• Liaise with service advisors and customers to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
