Job summary

Vertu BMW Sunderland is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team on a 41.5-hour week, Monday to Friday with no weekend work. The role offers a basic salary up to £42,538 depending on skills and experience, plus a bonus opportunity of up to £5,000.

You will contribute to delivering high-quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes, with manufacturer-led training and clear career progression paths.

Qualifications

• Relevant formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3).
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

We are offering a basic salary up to £42,538depending on skills and experience, plus a bonus opportunity of up to £5,000. This is based on a 41.5hour working week Monday - Friday with NO WEEKEND WORKING!

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

We're looking for technicians across all levels and packages on offer are dependent upon experience and qualifications.Whether you're currently working for a franchised dealership or an independent garage, we'd love to hear from you.

To be succesful in this role you should have the llowing qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT license preferred but not essential
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
