Job summary

Vertu Renault Plymouth is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a Monday–Friday role with no weekend work in Plymouth. You will perform diagnostics and repairs, aiming for first-time fixes while delivering excellent customer service.

The position offers a basic salary up to £41,000 plus a potential £5,000 bonus, based on a 42-hour week and experience. Ideal candidates hold a City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Automotive, have current vehicle technician experience, own tools, and a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) required.
• Current experience as Vehicle Technician in a dealership/workshop.
• Full UK driving licence and own set of tools; MOT license preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality workmanship and achieve first-time fixes.
• Carry out diagnostics and repairs on vehicles.
• Adhere to safety and company policies while working with customers.

We are offering a basic salary up to £41,000depending on skills and experience. plue the opportunity to make a further £5,000 in bonus! This is based on a 42hour working week.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT license preferred but not essential
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
