Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician in the New Forest/Southampton area. The ideal candidate holds Level 3 qualifications and has proven diagnostics expertise, with multi-brand experience preferred but not essential.

You will diagnose issues, carry out maintenance and repairs, and work closely with service advisors to deliver quality service. Overtime weekends are paid where applicable, with substantial overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification is required.
• Proven track record as a Diagnostic Technician in automotive.
• Multi-brand experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong diagnostics and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is currently offering a Vehicle Technician position for a respected client located in the New Forest/ Southamton area. Our client is in search of a skilled and experienced Level 3 qualified individual, proficient in diagnostics to join their team of industry experts. Don't let this opportunity pass you by!

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on vehicles to detect and address technical issues.
• Executing maintenance and repair tasks promptly and with precision.
• Utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Engaging in teamwork alongside service advisors and fellow team members.
• Demonstrated track record as a Diagnostic Technician in the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in diagnostics and adept problem-solving skills.
• Diagnostic/Master Technician/Senior Technician experience – Highly desired!
• Multi brand experience - desired but not essential.

The Package:

• Basic Salary of up to £50,000!!
• Monday to Friday (8:00 to 17:00) Weekends (NOT ESSENTIAL!) paid as overtime, with lots of additional overtime to be had.
