Job summary

Halfords is hiring a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You will perform MOT tests and a wide range of maintenance and repair work, ensuring every task meets the highest safety and quality standards.

We offer an uncapped bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,200 per year, a base salary of £35,000, and on-target earnings up to £41,200, with 5 days a week work and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Must hold valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work including diagnostics and routine services.
• Ensure work is completed to high safety and quality standards.
