Job summary

Halfords in Norwich is seeking a T3 Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our busy Autocentre. You will carry out interim, full and major vehicle services, plus follow-up repair and replacement work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

Applicants should have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served), a full driving licence with no more than 9 points, and proven service experience.

Qualifications

Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or time served experience.
Must have a full driver’s license with no more than 9 points
Experience delivering interim, full, and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service, etc.)

Responsibilities

Carry out interim, full, and major services, plus repair and replacement work.
Work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension as part of service tasks.

Skills

Valid UK driving licence (<=9 points)

Vehicle service experience

Education

Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
