Job summary

Halfords in Norwich is seeking a T3 Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our busy Autocentre. You will carry out interim, full and major vehicle services, plus follow-up repair and replacement work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

Applicants should have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served), a full driving licence with no more than 9 points, and proven service experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver’s license with no more than 9 points
• Experience delivering interim, full, and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full, and major services, plus repair and replacement work.
• Work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension as part of service tasks.

On-target earnings up to: £43,710

Comprising a base salary of £35,000 - £38,710 with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme, averaging additional earnings of £5,000 per year. The role involves 5 days a week (closed on Sundays).
