Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join our established independent automotive business in Windermere, Cumbria. This role offers a clear path to career progression, including potential management opportunities.

You will conduct MOT tests, service and repair vehicles to high standards, maintain records, and deliver excellent customer service while complying with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Tester licence essential.
• Proven MOT Technician experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests in line with current legal requirements.
• Complete vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.
• Ensure work is carried out efficiently and accurately.
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
• Follow all workshop health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team while managing tasks independently.
