Job summary

Kamro Limited T/A Tenex in Canterbury is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair a range of prestige and premium vehicles using high-quality diagnostic equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, NVQ Level 3, and a full UK driving licence with own tools. MOT training can be provided, and a monthly bonus is available on turnover targets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent automotive qualification.
  • MOT Licence preferred but not essential.
  • MOT training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong experience in vehicle diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with professional diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.
  • Strong team-working skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Own transport.

  • A willingness to develop and undertake further training.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Use professional diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
  • Carry out engine repairs and timing chain work.
  • Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional work required.
  • Work on a range of prestige and premium vehicles.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Work independently to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management and customers.

Salary: £36,000 £40,000 per annum + monthly bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:30pm

Weekends: No weekends

The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Vehicle Technician with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join a highly skilled and supportive workshop team.

You will work on a wide range of vehicles, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs and maintenance using high-quality diagnostic equipment and workshop facilities.
