Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester at Bridgend to join our Autocentres team. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and conduct a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks, from diagnostics to routine services, ensuring top quality workmanship and customer safety.

Qualifications

• MOT Testing Licence is essential.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence with fewer than 9 points is required.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

Skills and experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Full drivers licence with less than 9 points
