Halfords Garage Services is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester for our Fusion Centre, upgraded to lead in customer experience. You will carry out MOT tests, diagnostics and repairs to DVSA standards, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• From diagnostics & repairs to routine services, ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and keep vehicles safe on the road.

Job description

• On-target earnings up to £44,000.
• Comprising a base salary of £38,000.
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,000 per year.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, youll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, youll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
