Job summary

Halfords in Dumfries is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work to keep vehicles safe on the road.

The role offers a base salary of £35,000 with on-target earnings up to £41,200 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,200 per year. Benefits include 5 days a week, generous discounts, and opportunities for training and progression within the UK’s largest automotive

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
