Job summary

Westbridge Motor Services is a well-established, independent garage known for quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our team in a modern, fast-paced workshop.

You will service, maintain, and repair a range of vehicles, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and conduct Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards. The role offers a competitive salary, pension, training, and clear career development paths.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Current Class 4 MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not required.
• Proven experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Conducting Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Completing vehicle inspections and providing accurate reports on any additional work required.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
