Job summary

Steven Eagell Group at Toyota Solihull is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to high standards, diagnose faults with modern tools, and report defects according to MOT and safety requirements.

You will work efficiently, manage tools, and support apprentices as part of a welcoming Centre team. Applicants should hold a Level 2 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician qualification, have at least 2 years in automotive

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Level 2 Vehicle Technician or as a Diagnostic Technician.
• Minimum of 2 years in automotive repair/servicing.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota GB standards.
• Inspect and diagnose faults with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Identify defects and report them in line with MOT and safety requirements.
• Complete work within allocated time and maintain workshop efficiency.
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good condition.
• Mentor and coach apprentices as needed.
• Attend required specialist training to maintain technical expertise.
• Work collaboratively with the Centre team to deliver exceptional customer service.
