Job summary

Steven Eagell Limited is seeking a Vehicle Technician to perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota GB standards. You will diagnose faults, report defects and complete jobs on time in a supportive, team‑driven Centre.

You should hold a Level 2 Technician qualification (or Diagnostic Technician) with at least 2 years in automotive work; MOT Tester qualification is preferred. A full UK driving licence is essential and you will benefit from comprehensive training and a strong career path.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Qualified as Level 2 Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
• Minimum 2 years in automotive industry experience, preferably Toyota/Lexus.
• MOT Tester qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota GB standards.
• Inspect vehicles, diagnose faults including non-routine issues.
• Report defects per MOT and Vehicle Safety Report requirements.
• Complete work within allocated time while maintaining quality.
• Care for tools and workshop equipment; report defects.
• Follow Toyota Centre processes and maintain safety and professionalism.
• Communicate with customers clearly about work done and needed.
• Support and coach apprentice technicians to develop skills.
• Attend specialist training to maintain technical expertise.
• Work with the Centre team to deliver outstanding service.
