Hawk Hiring in Harrogate is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a Monday–Friday role with £28k+ salary, offering a relaxed yet professional workshop environment. You’ll service, maintain and repair vehicles, diagnose faults and ensure roadworthiness, while working independently and contributing to a supportive team in a spacious workshop.

Own tools are essential. There is free use of the workshop on Saturdays (9:00–13:00) for your own projects, and a pension scheme is included to

Qualifications

• Previous professional workshop experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical ability.
• Own tools – Essential.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Relevant automotive qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults
• Complete work to a high professional standard
• Carry out inspections and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
• Work independently while contributing positively to the wider workshop team
