Job summary

KAUTEC RECRUITMENT Ltd is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician in the Preston area. The role offers a Monday to Friday workshop position, 40 hours per week, with a salary up to £43,000 per annum.

You will work on a variety of vehicles, using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to diagnose, repair and service to approved standards. MOT prep and warranty work are part of the duties, with opportunities to progress in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications such as City & Guilds.
• Full UK driving licence (preferably clean).
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Use manufacturer approved diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Repair, maintain and service a wide range of vehicles.
• Ensure electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults are repaired to standard.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT where required.
• Complete warranty and standard repairs to brand procedures.
