Job summary

Streamline Search Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop. Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE) and Monday to Friday full-time.

The role involves servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards while ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent), strong diagnostic skills, and good IT proficiency.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• A full UK driving licence.
• MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to high standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Using diagnostic equipment and technical support systems.
• Following manufacturer repair procedures and workshop processes.
• Completing accurate electronic job cards and technical reports.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
