Job summary

Streamline Search Limited is assisting a reputable automotive dealer group in recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. The role focuses on servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to high standards, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence and experience using diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
• Full UK driving licence; MOT Tester qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Using diagnostic equipment and technical support systems.
• Following manufacturer repair procedures and workshop processes.
• Completing accurate electronic job cards and technical reports.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
