The Role

You'll be joining our workshop team carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of vehicles.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be trusted to use your skills and experience to diagnose problems and complete repairs to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
• Mechanical repairs and fault finding
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• MOT preparation and associated repair work
• Carrying out inspections and identifying additional work where required
• Completing jobs efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate job records
• Working safely and professionally
• Working independently and as part of a small, experienced team

About You

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic who takes pride in their work and is looking for a stable, long-term position.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• The ability to diagnose problems and carry out repairs independently
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent – preferred
• A reliable and positive attitude
• Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

MOT Tester qualification is preferred but not essential.
