Job summary

Central VW/Audi Ltd in Warrington is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy VW/Audi specialist garage. You will maintain and repair vehicles within the VAG group, perform routine maintenance, and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues. We value independence and teamwork, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

NVQ automotive level 3 is preferred, level 2 considered with garage experience. Driving licence is required. Full-time, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Diagnostic experience with vehicles.
• Familiarity with VAG group vehicles is a plus.
• Proficient with power tools for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, tyre rotations, filter replacements).

We are a family business that have been trading for almost 30 years.

We are now seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team in our busy independant specialist VW Audi garage. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles within the VAG group range. Enthusiasm for the job is a must and working independantly and as part of a team is an important attribute

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
• Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical problems
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or safety concerns
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately

Experience:

• Diagnostic experience
• Previous VAG group knowledge and experience a definate advantage
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
