Job summary

Central VW/Audi Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Ellesmere Port. You will maintain and repair vehicles within the VW/Audi/VAG range, working both independently and with the team.

The role requires diagnostic skills, familiarity with schematics, and strong mechanical knowledge. Competitive pay negotiable based on experience; full-time position with pension and parking perks.

Qualifications

• NVQ automotive level 3 preferred; level 2 with garage experience also considered.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• Experience with VW/Audi/VAG is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and electrical problems.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or safety concerns.
• Complete paperwork and documentation accurately.

We are a family business that have been trading for almost 30 years.

We are now seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team in our busy independant specialist VW Audi garage. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles within the VAG group range. Enthusiasm for the job is a must and working independantly and as part of a team is an important attribute

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
• Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical problems
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or safety concerns
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately

Experience:

• Diagnostic experience
• Previous VAG group knowledge and experience a definate advantage
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
