Job summary

Wessex Garages is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our South Wales and South West England network. You’ll receive full manufacturer training, work with the latest tools in a modern workshop, and contribute to first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction.

You’ll ideally have Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance, a clean UK driving licence, and prior main dealer experience is a plus but not essential. Your role runs 8:30am–5:00pm, Mon–Fri with Saturdays on rota.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests.
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards.
• Making the most of our facilities and processes to maximise productivity.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of our customers.
• Helping us maintain industry-leading standards in workshop performance.
• Taking part in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
