Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing LTD in Yeovil is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy dealership workshop. You will service, maintain and diagnose vehicles to manufacturer standards, with a clear path to progression and training.

The role offers £33,000–£35,000 basic, £50,000+ OTE, modern facilities and a supportive team, plus clear career development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete vehicle health checks
• Identify additional work where appropriate
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information
• Complete accurate job cards and workshop documentation
• Work towards workshop productivity and efficiency targets
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety

Skills

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle/M

Vehicle Technician experience

Diagnostic and fault-finding
